# How to write/read images using DefaultIP and HP interfaces. \[Jupyter, Ultra96\]

I don’t think your block design is connected correctly. You can check how the [original issue you mentioned](https://discuss.pynq.io/t/how-to-write-and-read-image-using-acp-port-jupyter/122/5) connects the IP. The AXI master ports from your IP should go to some of the slave HP/ACP ports of PS.
