# PYNQ v2.7 (Austin) Release

Hi everyone,

We just completed the v2.7 (Austin) release. See the release notes [here](https://github.com/Xilinx/PYNQ/releases/tag/v2.7.0). New SD Card images are available [here](http://www.pynq.io/board.html).

In general, we’ve upgraded PYNQ SD Cards to newer Python (3.8), JupyterLab (3.0.16) and Ubuntu-based packaging (20.04). Lots of good feature adds and bug fixes are also included.

In particular, I wanted to call out some new contributions since the last release you should all really check out:

1. @marioruiz added the [composable overlay](https://github.com/Xilinx/PYNQ_Composable_Pipeline)
2. @JennySmith888 added [CMAC support](https://github.com/Xilinx/PYNQ/blob/master/pynq/lib/cmac.py)
3. @black_pigeon added the [ant-sdr board](https://github.com/MicroPhase/antsdr-pynq) and
4. @sarafs1926 added [ZCU216 support](https://github.com/sarafs1926/ZCU216-PYNQ)
