Hello, my friends. I come across some problems while using DPU-PYNQ( GitHub - Xilinx/DPU-PYNQ: DPU on PYNQ ). Actually, I want to run YOLO on PYNQZU. But when I follow the instructions of the GitHub project, I come across some problems:
I open the PYNQZU jupyter lab on google browser on my win11 PC, I opened the terminal and use “pip3 install pynq-dpu --no-build-isolation” . However, I meet some problems(the terminal gave me some errs and warnings). So I wanna ask, what should I do? Should I download the zip file of the GitHub project to the jupyter lab and unzip it first? Or just log in to the jupyter lab and open the terminal and run the code provided by the readme.md file of the github proj.?
About my development environment: Win11 PC, PYNQZU board. The newest image files.
DPU-PYNQ is no longer supported with PYNQ v3.1. If you would like to use it, you can try one of the older images available for the PYNQ-ZU.
However, I think the error you are seeing is with connectivity issue. Make sure your board has access to the internet before trying to install any software.
Hi, @joshgoldsmith . I’m so sorry but I really need your help
.
I changed the image verision to v3.0.1. But it just didn’t work, the same result as my last post.
But I tried to connected the Internet with my board. My win11PC is connected to my WIFI, and my board is connected to my PC with a usb3.0. After I bridged a network interface for my PC and PYNQZU board, however, the board still cannot ping any website, and the result of “pip3 install pynq-dpu --no-build-isolation”is still the same.![]()
How could I sovle these problems ![]()
Hi @juicylovemita,
Have you tried using the on board WiFi?
Or a USB to Ethernet adapter?
