DRAM to RF data converter

I am trying to send data from PS-DRAM to the RF data converter DAC ; and since I have to trigger every transfer from software, I am wondering whether I can make a continuous pipe from DRAM to the data converter. I am thinking whether I should load the data from the DRAM to a BRAM before transferring it to the data converter.
