I would like to inquire how to install Biopython (or any other add-on) safely in PYNQ 2.5.

Did you try to install it?
https://biopython.org/wiki/Download
You need to install for Python 3.x as this is what PYNQ is using.

I will have to change to a larger sdcard first as it is almost full and will try to install again.
