Info about Pynq Z2 + PulsarPMODs

Hello,

we are about to acquire a Pynq Z2 board and we would like to test it in conjunction with PulsarPMODs from Analog (ADC boards with a PMOD connector and a SPI-compatible interface. See here PulsarPMODs Evaluation Board | Analog Devices ). Our purpose would be to connect them to the Z2 and see if we can read data (as per PulSAR ADC PMODs [Analog Devices Wiki] ) and then save to microsd. Two questions:

  1. Can you point us to the right entry point to create our own driver to access data ?

  2. Can we expect to sample (and save) at full speed i.e. 18-Bits 600 KSPS ?

  3. Any alternative solution for our purpose ?

Thanx
