Terminal not working

  • So, I am trying to setup the board. The ethernet cable seems to not connect directly, and I dont see it as an active connection in my control Panel, I tried to directly connect using the Micro-USB, but whenever I try to open the Terminal Emulator, Putty is not opening the terminal, and giving a sound, teraterm opens a terminal but when I press enter, Nothing shows up.
  • So should I change the Pynq Image ? If so where can I find the image(.img) file ? Because I am unable to find the Image on pynq.io, and am going in circles from the pynqdocs and pynq.io

Hi,
To get the PYNQ Z2 image folder, did you check the “boards” section of the pynq website (https://www.pynq.io/) ?

Is your issue similar to this one ( Computer can not see ethernet connection with board PYNQ-Z2) ?

Yes yes,
It is now working, I had the baud rate incorrect.

Note - I am also not able to connect to the board using Ethernet (direct to laptop).

  1. How do I trouble shoot this ? (The laptop Ethernet lights are not glowing … )

  2. Using the terminal can I still open the Jupiter environment ?

Is this issue mentionned in your other request ( Ifconfig giving an error message) ?

Can you use the solution proposed in this previous request ( Connecting RFSoC to a MacOS computer) ?
