Video capturing using the CSI-2 port

Good evening,

I’m currently working on a project which requires taking a picture and saving it to the SDCard. The camera with which this picture is supposed to be taken is the PCAM 5C by Digilent. The board im using is the Zybo-Z7-10. I was able to build a PYNQ image and got the webserver running. Is using the CSI-2 port even possible with PYNQ or should I consider to use a usb webcam? I’m fairly new to this topic in general and several days of research didn’t offer any acceptable solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

USB webcam should work ‘out-of-the-box’.
You would need to build a hardware design to control and capture images from the module.
