Board : RFSoC 4x2
Can’t I use the spectrum analyzer and qick library together?
When I try to run the two together, one of them stops running, so I’m wondering if there is a way to run the two together.

Hi there,
Could you give some more context to your question? How exactly are you attempting to run the QICK library? Are you attempting to run two different notebooks?
The spectrum analyser includes its own overlay, which is downloaded onto the FPGA when you run the notebook. If you are attempting to run another notebook that includes a separate overlay, then this will be downloaded onto the FPGA instead, causing the spectrum analyser to stop operating.
Thanks,
Josh
Hi Josh,
I also have a RFSoc 4x2 and I have the same question.
I would like to simultaneously output signal using QICK while operating the readouts channels as a spectrum analyzer using the rfsoc_sam module.
I understand that the two libraries have their own overlay and cannot coexist. Could you offer some advice on how to tackle this, have people attempted a joint overlay that can do both?
Thanks,
Chris
