Why is PYNQ still using qemu 5.2.0?

could anyone tell me why pynq is still using qemu-5.2.0 for building images?it just won’t build on my machine, which was because libio_uring is not at the right version, but change it would break the entire KDE…is there any success on newer qemu versions?

I’m using pynq v3.1.2,Astra S9,vivado 2025.1,vitis 2025.1

Hi @Grayowo

I would recommend the new Docker flow for building images. It builds and installs all the necessary tools, which will be available in the container.

Also, PYNQ v3.1 requires the 2024.1 tools, not 2025.1.
