Jupyter server crashing when assigning IP a new name

ZCU208, PYNQ3.0.1

For some reason, when I try to assign a DMA IP core to a Python variable, the thing crashes. I have to power cycle the board to reload the server, and doing this a couple times and switching some IP around in my block design revealed for sure that it’s the DMA core. I’ve even rebuilt the bitstream with different configurations of the DMA core and it still crashes the server when I try to assign it to a handle. Has anyone else come across this behavior?

hi,

From my experience, maybe you could take a look at your block design architecture or your DAC or ADC clock.
But I am new to RFSoC too, so maybe that’s not the issue

Hi,
Do you get something when doing help(ol) ? and help(ol.axi_dma_0)?

Can you please provide a link to the Overlay you used? Is it an official one or a custom one?

This was ages ago. If I remember correctly, it was an issue with the .hwh file that I had uploaded.
