RfSoC board running pynq 2.7 is not recognized by windows 10

My RfSoC 2*2 board running pynq version 2.7 is not being recognized by my primary windows 10 machine. Hence I am not being able to access the jupyter notebooks or run any design on the board. It shows me a " device descriptor request failed" error.

However, after rebooting the board and connecting it to my secondary laptop(which also fails to properly detect the board), and then re-connecting back to my primary system somehow recognizes the board again. However, the connection is lost within a few minutes again.

Any help would be appreciated!

Just to be clear, are you connecting using the USB 3 cable?

This looks like it could be a windows issue but if you are seeing the same on two computers it may be an issue with the board.
Did you try a search for this error and have you tried anything to resolve it?

Yes, I am connecting using the USB 3 cable, that comes in the box.
It is appearing on two computers, I might try on a macOS to see if this persists.
I guess until that, Iā€™m still stuck!

OK, in the meantime, can you connect to the board using an Ethernet cable?
If you can connect the board to your network the board will also have Ethernet access which is an advantage of connecting this way.
