Spectrum analyzer in zcu216

Hi,
Is it possible to create Spectrum analyzer design for ZCU216 boards. We are trying to create spectrum analyzer for 49DR based custom boards. Can anyone check in to it? @davidnorthcote

Hi @Abhi_G

It should be relatively easy to port Strathclyde’s RFSoC SAM overlay to a 49DR board. It already supports the ZCU208 which is a 48DR chip.

Hi @joshgoldsmith

We had ported ZCU208 design to 49DR board but we were observing multiple peaks as in the image attached. In the receiver side we are not getting the proper transmitter frequency. And if we change the center frequency , we were observing peaks at the given center frequency.

We checked in 48DR and there the observations were proper. In 49DR, the maximum ADC sampling rate is 2.5GSPS, so we kept ADC & DAC sampling rate as 2.048GSPS and also made changes in the constant.py file. We are using PYNQ 3.1. So any other changes need to be done here ?

It sounds like it could be a clock issue but, unfortunately, there’s not much advice I can give for custom boards as I have no way of testing them.
