Upgrade ZCU111 PS RAM

Hello,

I read in the ZCU111 documentation that it is possible to use a 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM strip for the ZCU111.

If I install it in the 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM, everything works, however it is not possible to use the extra 28GB.

I have 2 questions:

1- How to make it possible to read and write data in this extra 28GB, without forcing Linux to “see” 32Gb of RAM, i.e. to be able to use it as the 4GB of the PL RAM. Surely this has to be modified in Vivado?

2- The other way around: how to use the 32GB of RAM directly from Linux (like a standard PC to which we would have increased the RAM). It will certainly be necessary to compile the Kernel again?

Thanks in advance

Damien
